Chandlers Ford Timber

Chandlers Ford Timber commenced trading in 2001, with the aim of building a local independent timber merchant business, servicing Eastleigh and the surrounding area, supplying quality timber products, with outstanding service to match. Although the Company itself is relatively young, owner Ron Scorey has spent most of his working life associated with the timber industry and has accumulated over 50 years of experience.

We endeavour to operate a same day/next day to an area of approx 20 miles from our Eastleigh centre, subject to goods being available from stock at the time of order. Those living within a 3 mile radius of the centre benefit from a FREE DELIVERY service. Those living outside of the 3 mile radius may be charged a small, nominal delivery fee depending on the value of the order.
Your orders can be placed in person, by telephone, fax or email and can be paid for over the phone using most credit/debit cards, cash or by cheque.

Chandlers Ford Timber Ltd is fully committed to sourcing and increasing the volume of our timber from well managed, sustainable, and legal sources. We are able to supply FSC certified timber based products under our certificate SGS-COC 003232UU, and PEFC certified products under our certificate SGS-PEFC/COC-0146UU. Chain of custody certification is a process of ensuring that a forest product has come from a legal, responsible source. It is a link from the initial logging stage through the supply chain, potentially ending with the end user.

We are keenly aware of the importance of ensuring that our importer suppliers use every opportunity to obtain their timber from sustainably managed forest resources. Such actions ensure that timber will remain one of the most renewable, and environmentally friendly of all building materials. Further, you can be comforted in the knowledge that your purchasing decision has not literally 'cost the earth'.
